Haley’s Visit to the Lake House By Haley Sells One time my family and I and some other relatives went to our lake house that we share amongst the family. It was as hot as fire outside when we finally got to the lake. As we ran inside you could smell the sweet smell of candles, they smelled as good as cinnamon. While kids changed into bathing suits the parents got the boat, tubes, and kneeboards ready for us. When all the kids were ready we lowered the boat onto the water. We decided to double tube first. The oldest got on the flat tube and the youngest got on the hotdog and we were off. My favorite thing about double tubing is when you jump from one tube to the other you feel like your flying through the air like a bird. When lunch was ready we came in to eat. For lunch we had home made cheese quesadillas and cheese dip. When we were done eating and the adults were done taking a nap or watching TV, we went back to tubing. After we were tired of tubing we took out the kneeboard. We did some tricks we already knew, and then we started to try new ones. We fell of a couple of times when we tried new tricks but we finally got them on our third or fourth try. I had so much fun at the lake and I can’t wait until I go back.
